RESOLUTION NO. 2014-031 ADOPTED March 11, 2014
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONOF $5,000.00
RESULTNG FROM A DONATION TO THE FRIENDS OF LEESBURG
PUBLIC ARTS TO FUND THE PARKING GARAGE MURAL
WHEREAS,the Commission on Public Art has been designated by Council to provide
leadership in the mural project and the Friends of Leesburg Public Arts are responsible for raising
the funds to support the mural project as Council has indicated that no tax payer dollars are to be
used;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2014 Budget is hereby amended, and an appropriation is made in the
amount of$5,000 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014.
SECTION II. The Commission on Public Art budget is amended in the amount of$5,000
for the payment of design services provided by Russ Bennett.
