A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF ANNUAL CIGARETTE AND TOBBACO
PERMIT TO MORGANS SERVICE, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS: Morgan's Service has submitted application and required payment to the City of
Tiffin, the local jurisdiction as required by Iowa Code, for the cigarette permit renewal effective July 1,
2013 through June 30, 2014, and;
WHEREAS: the said application appears to be in proper order and has been signed by an
authorized individual. representing the entity applying'for permit and required payment is'accepted by
City Clerk of Tiffin, Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the authorized `signing individual states that they hereby bind themselves to a faithful
observance of the laws governing the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products within the boundaries
of Tiffin, Iowa.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City Council hereby
authorizes the issuance of the 2013-096 AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF ANNUAL CIGARETTE
AND TOBACCO PERMIT TO MORGANS SERVICE.
On this 08th day of May 2013, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Council person
Bartels introduced RESOLUTION 2013-096 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
ANNUAL CIGARETTE AND TOBBACO PERMIT TO MORGANS SERVICE and made a motion for
approval. The motion was seconded by Council person Kahler. ,
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None
Absent: None
With five votes of approval, WHEREUPON, Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION 2013-096
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF ANNUAL CIGARETTE AND TOBACCO PERMIT TO"
MORGANS SERVICE be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed and approved this 08th day9f May, 2013.
