A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE.RENEWAL OF THE CIGARETTE AND
TOBBACO PERMIT TO KUM & GO STORE #137, LOCATED AT 101 VILLAGE DR.,
TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS: Kum & Go Store #137 has submitted application and required payment
to the City of Tiffin, the local jurisdiction as required by Iowa Code, for the cigarette
permit issuance effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, and;
WHEREAS: the said application appears to be in proper order and has been signed
by an authorized individual representing the entity applying for permit and required
payment is accepted by City Clerk of Tiffin, Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the authorized signing individual states that they.hereby bind
themselves to a faithful observance of the laws governing the sale of cigarettes and
tobacco products within the boundaries of Tiffin, Iowa,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City
Council hereby authorizes the issuance of RESOLUTION 2013-097 AUTHORIZING
THE RENEWAL OF THE CIGARETTE PERMIT TO KUM & GO STORE #137.
On this 08th day of May 2013, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Council person Bartels introduced 'RESOLUTION 2013-097 AUTHORIZING THE
RENEWAL OF THE CIGARETTE AND TOBBACCO PERMIT TO KUM & GO STORE
#137 and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Council person
Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: None
Absent: None
WHEREUPON, with five votes for approval, Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION
2013-097 AUTHORIZING THE RENEWAL OF THE CIGAREETTE AND TOBACCO
PERMIT TO KUM & GO STORE #137 be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed and Approved this 08th day of May, 2013.
