RESOLUTION NO. 2014-069 ADOPTED June 24, 2014
A RESOLUTION: CONSENT TO THE TOWN MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT OF THE
CHIEF OF POLICE AS COORDINATOR OF EMERGENCY SERVICES
WHEREAS,pursuant to Town Code Section 12-1, the Town Manager may, in writing,
appoint a coordinator of emergency management; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has appointed the Joseph R. Price, Chief of Police, as the
coordinator of emergency management; and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, Section 44-146.19,the
Town Council must consent to this appointment by the Town Manager.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED,by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia:
The Town Council consent's to the Town Manager's appointment as Joseph R. Price as the
coordinator of emergency management under the Section 12-1 of the Town Code.
