A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT SINGLE
AXLE DUMP TRUCK
WHEREAS,the approved Fiscal Year 2015 Budget includes funding for the purchase of a
replacement Single Axle Dump Truck for the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, Arlington County,Virginia,pursuant to the Virginia Public Procurement Act,
has a current contract for the purchase of this type of equipment with K.Neal International of
Hyattsville, Maryland; and
WHEREAS,the Town of Leesburg may use the current Arlington County contract and the
purchase price for a Single Axle Dump Truck is $101,217; and
WHEREAS,the Town's Chief Procurement Office and the Director of Public Works
recommend purchase of this equipment from K. Neal International in the amount of$101,217.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the he
Town Manager is authorized and directed to purchase a Single Axle Dump Truck from K. Neal
International of Hyattsville, Maryland in the amount of$101,217.
