A RESOLUTION: APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2015 GENERAL FUND
BUDGET,AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR$122,870
AWARDED TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM
COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA'S ATTORNEY GENERAL'S
OFFICE.
WHEREAS,the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia has awarded through
its Asset Forfeiture Sharing Program$122,870 to the Leesburg Police Department to fund
enhancements to the department's technological and operational capabilities.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
FY 2015 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is made in the amount of
$122,870 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2015, as follows to
include the adjusted totals to the categories and accounts of the funds listed below:
a. From the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia's Office through its
Asset Forfeiture Sharing Program has awarded to the Leesburg Police Department
funds in the amount of$120,870 to fund enhancements to the department's
technological and operational capabilities.
