A RESOLUTION: APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2015 GENERAL FUND
BUDGET, AND APPROPRIATING $6,300 FROM FISCAL YEAR 2015
BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS COMPENSATION TO THE
LEESBURG AIR SHOW
WHEREAS, the Annual Leesburg Air Show is a successful community event funded by
grants, donations, and sponsorships; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Commission unanimously voted on May 2, 2014 to waive its
annual member compensation totaling $6,300 and have requested an equivalent amount be
directed toward expenses of the 2014 Leesburg Air Show; and
WHEREAS, a Supplemental Appropriation of$6,300 from the General Fund Boards and
Commission Budget to the Leesburg Air Show is required for fully funding the events of the
2014 Leesburg Air Show.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The FY 2015 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and a reallocation is made from
the Boards and Commissions to the Leesburg Air Show in the amount of$6,300 for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2015.
PASSED this 23rd day of September, 2014.
