RESOLUTION NO. 2015-046 ADOPTED April 14,2015
A RESOLUTION: APPROVAL OF ART TO BE USED IN A TEMPORARY ART
DISPLAY BY WESTERN LOUDOUN AREA STUDIO TOUR
ARTISTS
WHEREAS,the Western Loudoun Artists Studio Artists want to display hand sculptures
at Mervin Jackson Park to promote their 2015 Studio Arts Tour June 20 and 21, 2015; and
WHEREAS,the Town Council must approve all art displayed on public property; and
WHEREAS,this approval requires the endorsement of the art by the Commission on
Public Art;and
WHEREAS,the Commission on Public Art recommends that the art by the Western
Loudoun Artists Studio Tour Artists be approved by the Town Council.
THEREFORE,RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia hereby
approves the artwork for a temporary display at Mervin Jackson Park on Friday,May 1,2015.
PASSED this 14th day of April, 2015.
