RESOLUTION NO. 2015-074 ADOPTED June 23,2015
A RESOLUTION: AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE
SKATEPARK TO SPOHN RANCH, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $500,000
WHEREAS,the redevelopment of the Skatepark is a funded project within the Fiscal
Year 2016 Capital Improvements Program; and
WHEREAS, firms that hold contracts resulting from national cooperative procurement
solicitations were evaluated on quality of design and construction,responsiveness,value,
methodology, and references; and
WHEREAS, Spohn Ranch, Inc. was determined to best meet the needs of the Town; and
WHEREAS,this is a unit price contract and the estimated quantities will be multiplied by
the unit price to reach the not to exceed contract price; and
WHEREAS, no additional funding is needed to award this contract.
THEREFORE,RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that:
The Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract in a form approved by the Town Attorney
with Spohn Ranch,Inc. in an amount not to exceed$500,000 for the redevelopment of the
Skatepark.
