RESOLUTION NO. 2015-086 ADOPTED August 11, 2015
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $12,988
FROM THE THOMAS BALCH LIBRARY BUILDING AND
UPKEEP FUND FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE B. POWELL
AND AGNES HARRISON PATIO.
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg's Thomas Balch Library ("TBL") received a bid of
$12,988 from Blake Landscapes, Inc. for renovating the B. Powell and Agnes Harrison patio;
and
WHEREAS, funds have been designated in the Thomas Balch Library Building and
Upkeep Fund for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, in order for the Thomas Balch Library to expend these funds, the Town
Council must pass a supplemental budget appropriation to the Thomas Balch Library General
Fund Fiscal Year 2016 operating budget.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Fiscal Year 2016 Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is
made in the amount of $12,988 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015 and ending
June 30,2016.
SECTION II. The Thomas Balch Library FiscalYear 2016 operating budget is amended
in the amount of$12,988.
