A RESOLUTION: APPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR A JOINT MEETING
WITH THE LOUDOUN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO
DISCUSS THE PLAN REVIEW PROCESS FOR THE COUNTY COURTS
EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, Loudoun County has submitted two rezoning applications and a Town Plan
amendment for the expansion of the Loudoun County Courts complex; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors at their meeting of July 15, 2015 suggested a meeting
between two Board of Supervisors members and two Town Council members to discuss the review
of the applications; and
WHEREAS, Town staff has been giving priority to the review of the applications and has
been working cooperatively and collaboratively with Loudoun County staff.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
should members of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and the Town Council still desire a
meeting to discuss the progress of the review of the applications, that the Town Council designates
Mayor Kristen Umstattd and Council member Suzanne Fox as the representatives for the meeting.
