STORMWATER CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

The projects described in this section are related to constructing storm
sewers, channels, and creek bank stabilization, which will help alleviate flooding
and erosion problems. There are twelve (12) projects planned at a total estimated
cost of $5,510,000.
The District's revenue sources to plan and construct these projects are from
the District's General Fund, Improvement Fund or from the collection of property
taxes that are placed in various Operation, Maintenance, Construction and
Improvement (OMCI) Funds currently established in certain areas of the District.
The property taxes collected within the boundaries of OMCI Taxing Districts must
be spent for improvements within their specific areas of collection.
