HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 73-1286RESOLUTION NO. 73 -1286 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE EASEMENT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION,1. That the public interest and convenience require and the City of Temple City does hereby declare its intention to vacate all of that portion of that certain future alley ih said City, more particularly described as: An easement designated as "future Alley" over the - westerly 20 feet of lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 and the southerly 20 feet of the westerly 20 feet of lot 4, Tract No. 15098. Shown and offered for dedica- tion on the map of said tract recorded in Book 330, pp. 41 and 42 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, . County of Los Angeles. SECTION 2. A map or plan indicating by boundary lines the extent of the property included in the proposed vacation is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and reference is hereby made to said map or plan for a further full and complete description of all property comprising the aforesaid portion of the future alley proposed to be vacated as declared herein. SECTION 3. Any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before this Council on the 3rd day of July, 1973, at 7:30 p.m. of said day in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, in the City of Temple City, and show cause why said portion of such future alley should not be vacated and abandoned as aforesaid. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall cause to be posted notices of the passage of this Resolution at the places and in the manner required by law. These proceedings are taken under and by virtue of the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, as amended, being Sections 8300 to 8331 inclusive of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of June ATTEST: 1973.
