REJECTING BIDS FOR 1996 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN AND
AUTHORIZING PURCHASING AGENT TO RE-ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, bids for a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban Truck or its equivalent were
authorized by Resolution #96-99 on April 2, 1996; and
WHEREAS, one bid was received on May 2, 1996; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough of Carteret to reject previous
bids and re-advertise said bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret do hereby reject the bid and authorize the Purchasing Agent to
re-advertise bids for a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban or its equivalent.
Adopted this 16th day of May, 1996
and certified as a tree copy of the
original on May 17, 1996.
