HomeMy Public PortalAboutr 00:055· No. 00-55 Date of Adoption _~'It~RUkRY 3, 2000 RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER WHEREAS, on June 14, 1999, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret entered into a contract with Stacey Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $203,329.43; and WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has further certified that said Linden Street, Hermann Avenue and Cypress Street Sewer Separation Phase II modifications were unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLED that the sum of $36,660.00 is hereby added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby approved.
