A RESOLUTION: APPROVING SPECIAL EXCEPTION TLSE-2015-0012, AIRPARK-
GELMAN, FOR A PLUMBING SUPPLY COMPANY AT AN
EXISTING FACILITY AT 741 MILLER DRIVE.
WHEREAS, Airpark-Gelman, LLC ("Airpark-Gelman") has requested a Special
Exception approval to permit a plumbing supply company at their existing property at 741 Miller
Drive, identified as Loudoun County Parcel Identification(PIN)number 234-30-9344; and
WHEREAS,the property is zoned I-1, Light Industrial; and
WHEREAS, no new construction is proposed with the request; and
WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a duly advertised Public Hearing on
Februaryl8, 2016 and recommended approval; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval; and
WHEREAS,the Town Council held a duly advertised Public Hearing on March 8, 2016;
and
WHEREAS, Town Council has determined the proposed special exception use meets the
special exception standards for a plumbing and electrical supply business as set forth in the
Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Town Council has determined that the Use Standards of Zoning Ordinance
Section 9.3.1 and the Approval Criteria of Zoning Ordinance Section 3.4.12 have been satisfied;
and
WHEREAS, Town Council has determined that the proposal would both serve the public
necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice.

GELMAN, FOR A PLUMBING SUPPLY COMPANY AT AN
EXISTING FACILITY AT 741 MILLER DRIVE.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
Special Exception application TLSE-2015-0012, Airpark-Gelman, is hereby approved to permit
a plumbing supply company on the property identified as Loudoun County Parcel Identification
(PIN)number 234-30-9344.
