HomeMy Public PortalAbout2018-082 Resolution Ordering Preparation of Feasibility Report on 2019 Brockton Ln Sanitary ProjectMember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2018-82 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT ON 2019 BROCKTON LANE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, it is proposed to replace sanitary sewer infrastructure under Brockton Lane from Hamel Road south 625 feet and to assess the benefitted properties for a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: That the proposed improvement, called the 2019 Brockton Lane Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project, be referred to Bolton Menk for study and that Bolton Menk is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the City Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate the individual assessments for affected parcels.
