A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $300 TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2016 GENERAL FUND
POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET
WHERAS, the Leesburg Police Department conducts a Junior Police Camp which is a
community outreach program each summer; and
WHEREAS, the Loudoun First Responders Foundation, Inc. has awarded a donation to the •
Leesburg Police Department in the amount of$300 to provide support and assistance to
community outreach programs conducted by the Leesburg Police Department.
THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows: •
SECTION 1. The Fiscal Year 2016 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and an
appropriation is made in the amount of$300 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015 and ending
June 30, 2016.
SECTION II. The Police Department Community Services Law Enforcement Supplies
budget is amended in the amount of$300 for the purchase of items for the 2016 Junior Police
Camp.
