A RESOLUTION: APPROPRIATING DEPARTMENT OF UTILITIES UNEXPENDED
FUNDS FOR CARRY OVER FROM FISCAL YEAR 2016 TO FISCAL
YEAR 2017 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the Department of Utilities has approved projects that were initiated prior to
the Fiscal Year 2016 ending on June 30, 2016, which will not be finalized through Town's
• procurement process before June 30, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the Department requests approval to carry over funds totaling $652,591.72
from the current Fiscal Year 2016 to the ensuing Fiscal Year 2017; for the anticipated and approved
projects of asset management program implementation ($100,000.00) and Cattail Branch Pumping
Station Upgrades($552,591.72).
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Fiscal Year 2017 Department of Utilites budget is hereby amended and $652,591.72 of Fiscal Year
2016 project finding carry over is appropriated.
PASSED this 14th day of June 2016.
