REPORT
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING SUBCOMMITTEE
May 24, 2011
The Economic Development and Planning Subcommittee met on Tuesday, May
24, 2011 at 6:45 pm in the Richard E. Mastrangelo Council Chamber. Present
for the meeting were Committee members: Stephen P. Corbett, Chair; and
Susan G. Falkoff, Secretary. Also present was Christopher Heep, candidate for
a Zoning Board of Appeals appointment.
The Committee interview Mr. Heep who is a practicing attorney with extensive
experience in representing towns and local boards specializing in zoning and
land use law. Mr. Heep expressed an interest in filling a vacancy on the Board
as an alternate member with a term to expire on February 15, 2012. The
Committee felt he was well qualified and that his expertise would be very
helpful to the Board.
The Committee voted 2-0 to recommend to the full Council the approval of the
appointment of Mr. Christopher Heep.
