A RESOLUTION: APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM FISCAL YEAR 2016 TO FISCAL
YEAR 2017 BUDGET FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
PERMENANT STAGE ON THE TOWN HALL GREEN.
WHEREAS, at their November 10, 2015 regular session meeting, Town Council approved
the construction of a permanent stage on Town Hall Green for a price not to exceed$50,000;
WHEREAS, the project has been initiated and design completed prior to the Fiscal Year
2016 ending on June 30, 2016, but will not be finalized through the Town's procurement process
before June 30, 2016; and
WHEREAS, carry over funds totaling $50,000 from the current Fiscal Year 2016 to the
ensuing Fiscal Year 2017 is required to complete the procurement and construction of the
permanent stage.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Fiscal Year 2017 budget is hereby amended and $50,000 of Fiscal Year 2016 balance carry over is
appropriated.
