2023 Plainfield Fireworks Show and Food Truck Festival
Plainfield, IL-- The Village of Plainfield is partnering with the Plainfield Park District to host
Plainfield’s Annual Fireworks Show on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 at Gregory B. Bott Community Park,
located at 24550 West Renwick Road in Plainfield, Illinois. The Inaugural Plainfield Food Truck
Festival begins at 4:00 p.m. and runs to 9:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Bott Park. The Fireworks Show
will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m.
Recommended parking and viewing locations for the fireworks:
• Plainfield Central High School
• St. Mary Immaculate Parish
• Bott Park (viewing at south soccer fields only)
The following closures will occur on July 3rd:
• The baseball fields and bike path at Bott Park will close at approximately 10:00 a.m.
• The playground at Greg Bott Community Park will close at 8:30 p.m.
The following parking restrictions will be in place on July 3rd:
• No Parking:
o Renwick Road between Hometown Drive and Spangler’s Farm Drive
o River Road
• No Parking on one side of:
o Hometown Drive

A limited amount of accessible parking will be available near the tennis courts. It is recommended
you arrive early if you need to utilize that lot.
There will be an increase in pedestrian traffic in the area. All motorists are advised to use caution on
Monday evening when driving near and around PCHS. Anyone planning to come and enjoy the
food truck festival and fireworks show is reminded to expect significant traffic delays at the
conclusion of the event.
Please see the attached map for parking locations, viewing locations, restricted access areas, and
restricted parking areas. No alcohol is permitted at any of the viewing locations.
