Town of Leesburg Seeks Volunteers for Boards & Commissions
Leesburg, VA (December 20, 2012) – The Town of Leesburg is seeking volunteers to serve on
boards and commissions that provide assistance and advice to the Town Council on a variety of
subjects. The Council will make appointments on January 8, 2013 to fill vacancies on the
following boards and commissions:
• Board of Architectural Review
• Economic Development Commission
• Parks & Recreation Commission
• Technology & Communications Commission
• Tree Commission
• Utility Rate Advisory Committee
Leesburg residents interested in serving on one of these boards or commissions are invited to
submit statements of interest and qualifications to Lee Ann Green, the Leesburg Clerk of
Council, by Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Materials can be submitted via email to
lgreen@leesburgva.gov, by regular mail to Clerk of Council, Town of Leesburg, 25 West Market
Street, Leesburg, VA 20176, or hand-delivered to Town Hall (25 West Market Street) in
downtown Leesburg.
