A RESOLUTION: TO PROVIDE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS (VFW) POST
#1177 A FEE WAIVER IN THE AMOUNT OF $720
WHEREAS, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the event organizer, held
their second Annual Volksmarch in Leesburg on November 11,2016; and
WHEREAS, the event organizer, was permitted to hold its event and has paid
the Town's•$5 0.00 event application fee; and
WHEREAS, the event organizer requested a waiver of the fees associated with
Town police support services that provided traffic control measures for the safety of
the participants.
THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that a fee
waiver for $720 will be provided to VFW Post #1177 for the 2016 Volksmarch.
PASSED this 15th day of November, 2016.
