RESOLUTION NO. 2016-146 ADOPTED November 15, 2016
A RESOLUTION: ACCEPTANCE OF A $3,000 DONATION FROM THE
LEESBURG DAYBREAK ROTARY CLUB FOR PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS AT ROTARY PARK
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Daybreak Rotary Club has generously donated $3,000 to the
Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the Rotary Club has specifically designated the donation for enhancements
to Rotary Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation staff recommends acceptance of the
donation and the appropriation of funds into the Parks and Recreation Fiscal Year 2017 budget
for the purpose of public improvements at Rotary Park.
THEREFORE RESOLVED; by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Fiscal Year 2017 Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is
made in the amount of$3,000 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016 and ending June 30,
2017.
SECTION II. The Department of Parks and Recreation budget is amended in the amount
of$3,000 .
