A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO PAY THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMBERS FOR PRIOR MEETINGS ATTENDED
Whereas, The City recognizes that it has recently passed and approved an update to
the Ordinance creating a compensation of $20 per meeting attended by Board of
Adjustment members and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it has been past practice
to pay the Board of Adjustment members $20 for each meeting they have attended;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
paying the Board of Adjustment members for the meetings they have attended thus far
in 2013 that were prior to approval of the Ordinance update.
On the 24th day of July, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-141, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO PAY THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT MEMBERS FOR PRIOR MEETINGS ATTENDED and made a motion
for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-141, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO PAY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
MEMBERS FOR PRIOR MEETINGS ATTENDED to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of July, 2013.
