CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
MAY 24, 2005 AT 6:30 P.M.
1. Call Meeting to Order/Pledge of Allegiance
2. Approve previous meting minutes
3. Approve monthly expense report and ratify payment of bills
4. Distribute other reports for review
5. Conduct a public hearing for consideration of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a
Home Occupation to provide limited day care services in an R1 Zone at 2977 N.
55 E.
6. Report on Arbor Day Celebration (Scott Long and Robyn Keyes)
7. Conduct a public hearing for consideration of an amendment to Title 11, Chapter
4, of the zoning code. The amendment would add a provision to the Conditional
Uses for the R1 zone for Patio Home development subject to council approval and
certain restrictions.
8. Conduct a public hearing for the consideration of the adoption of a new chapter
(Title 11, Chapter 4A) within the zoning code. If approved Chapter 4A would
allow for Townhouses subject to council approval and certain restrictions.

approval of; Annexation Agreement, Annexation Ordinance, Conducting of a
public hearing to consider initial zoning of newly annexed area (requested zoning
of Country Home Estates if R1) and a request for a Conditional Use Permit to
allow a certain number of Patio Homes within the development, and approval of
the Final Plat.
10. Annexation Proceedings Prior to Platting (Homer Estates Division #2): Council
consideration of; Annexation Agreement, Annexation Ordinance, Conducting of a
public hearing to consider initial zoning of newly annexed are (requested zoning
is R1).
11. Consideration of resolution to exchange property in the Mountain Ridge
Subdivision for a City Park.
12. Consideration of request to approve final plat for Mountain Ridge Estates
Division #2 (subject to exchange of property).
13. Consideration and review of preliminary plat for the (Southside Subdivision).
14. Consideration and review of the detailed construction specifications in the draft of
Iona's General Developer Requirements for New Development.
15. Consideration and approval for the printing of the "Iona History Book".
16. Consideration and approval of dates and activities for the annual Iona Day's
Celebration.
17. Authorization to seek bids for engineering services to develop Water System
Model.
18. Recognition of citizens from the floor and other business.
