A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF A STREET LIGHT BY
ALLIANT ENERGY AT THE INTERSECTION OF CHERRY LN. AND LINDEN LN.
Whereas, The City has indicated the area of Cherry Lane and Linden Lane is very dark
and not well lighted, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the intersection of Cherry
Lane and Linden Lane would be a good location for the placement of a street light;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the installation of one street light at the Intersection of Cherry Lane and Linden Lane.
On the 24th day of July, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-143, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF A STREET LIGHT BY ALLIANT ENERGY AT
THE INTERSECTION OF CHERRY LANE AND LINDEN LANE and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips °
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-143, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
INSTALLATION OF A STREET LIGHT BY ALLIANT ENERGY AT THE
INTERSECTION OF CHERRY LANE AND LINDEN LANE to be adopted and signified
his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24TH day of July, 2013.
