RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 TO
DAVE SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION FOR $11,160.21
WHEREAS: City Council awarded Dave Schmitt the contract for the Water Main
Improvements.
WHEREAS: Dave Schmitt has now presented a change order #1 for extension of 16" water
main, extension to the barrel on a fire hydrant, repair of existing 4" raw water main, and
additional labor that was required to connect the 12" main.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin,' Iowa to authorize the Mayor
and the City Administrator/Clerk to approve change order #1 and sign appropriate forms.
At a regular meeting of City Council on the 14th day of August 2013 Resolution 2013-144
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 TO DAVE SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION
FOR $11,160.21was introduced by Councilperson Upton and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded.by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None
Absent: None
WHEREUPON with five votes for approval, Mayor Berner now declares Resolution 2013-144
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 TO DAVE SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION
FOR,$11,160.21passed and confirms this action by affixing his signature.
Passed and approved this 14th day August of 2013.
