Members not Present: Denise Rego and Robert Steinm;:~nn The purpose of this meeting was to familiarize the committee's members with the town's "accessible voting machine". The better informed our committee members are regarding how this machine works and what it can do, the better we will be able to inform others about it and promote its use. Brewster's Town Clerk, Colette Williams graciously assisted us in this project. She demonstrated the machine, answered questions, and encouraged everyone there to try it. Colette was going to follow up by getting more information for us re special apparatus that can work with this accessible voting machine, such as a "puffer". Colette was also going to put up a sign saying "ACCESSIBLE VOTING MACHINE AVAILABLE" at the November 2"d elections. Meeting adjourned at 3:15pm. Respectfully submitted by Maureen Steinmann
