A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INCREASE IN THE WAGES FOR THE DEPUTY
CLERK POSITION, NOT TO EXCEED $36,000 PER YEAR
Whereas, The City recognizes that in order to properly compensate and retain a quality
employee sometimes there needs to be a wage adjustment made and;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of -the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
an'increase in the wages for the Deputy Clerk Position, not to exceed $36,000 per year.
On the 7th day of August, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-144, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING AN INCREASE IN THE WAGES FOR THE DEPUTY CLERK POSITION,
NOT TO EXCEED $36,000 PER YEAR and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Upton, Bartels, Ryan
Nays: Ryan
Absent: none.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-144, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN
INCREASE IN THE WAGES FOR THE DEPUTY CLERK POSITION, NOT TO
EXCEED $36,000 PER YEAR to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 7th day of August, 2013.
