SITE LAN VIEW COMMITTEE
November 21,2012 -Minutes
A meeting of the Site Plan Review Committee was called to order at 10:00 a.m. in Skaket Meeting Room
at the Orleans T own Hall. Departments Present: George Meservey(Planning');Bob Canning(Health');
Robert Felt(Fire); Brian Harrison(Building);John Jannell(Conservation). Absent: Todd Budnick
(Water);Mark Budnick(Highway).
Robert Felt recused himself as an abutter.
PARTIAL RELEASE OF SURETY FUNDS: Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, 65 Old Colony Way
Meservey informed the committee that Todd Thayer(Cape Cod Brokerage)has requested a Partial
Release of Surety Funds in the amount of$25,000.00(of the original$37,500 surety)due to ongoing
construction costs and in reimbursement for ongoing items that have been partially or completely finished
including items such as paving, landscaping,irrigation,parking lot lighting and walkways. Site Plan
Review Committee discussed outdoor lighting and landscaping in the rear of the building. It was noted
that the applicant has been granted a temporary Certificate of Occupancy.
MOTION: On a motion by Brian Harrison, seconded by Bob Canning,the Committee voted
to authorize a partial release of surety in the amount of$25,000.00 to Cape Cod Brokerage.
VOTE: 4-0-0 The motion passed unanimously.
Robert Felt rejoined the meeting at this time.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 7,2012
MOTION: On a motion by Bob Canning, seconded by Brian Harrison,the Committee voted to
approve the minutes of November 7, 2012.
VOTE: 4-0-1 The motion passed by a majority. (Robert Felt abstained)
The meeting adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
