RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN CERTIFICATE OF
SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION FOR DAVE SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS: City Council awarded Dave Schmitt the contract for the Water Main
Improvements.
WHEREAS: Dave Schmitt has now presented a Certificate of Completion for said project.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the City
Administrator/Clerk to sign the necessary Certificate of Substantial Completion and appropriate
forms.
At a regular meeting of City Council on the 24th day of July 2013 Resolution 2013-146
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN CERTIFICATE OF
SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION FOR DAVE SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION was introduced by
Councilperson Bartels and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips.
Nays: None
Absent: None
WHEREUPON with five votes for approval, Mayor Berner now declares Resolution 2013-146
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN CERTIFICATE OF
SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION FOR DAVE SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION passed and confirms
this action by affixing his signature.
Passed and approved this 24th day July of 2013.
