AUTHORIZING DEMOLITION OFFICER TO ELIMINATE
DANGEROUS CONDITIONS AT 45 McKINLEY AVENUE
WHEREAS, a condition exists at 45 McKinley Avenue which threatens the health,
safc0, and public welfare of residents in that area or persons coming in contact with
that location; and
WHEREAS, efforts by the local Health Board and Construction Office to compel
compliance has not resulted a response from the property owners; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the administrative personnel that immediate
steps be taken to cure the condition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the
Borough of Carteret hereby authorizes the Demolition Officer to take whatever steps
necessary to eliminate the dangerous conditions of the pool area at 45 McKinley
Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all costs incurred pursuant to this action shall
be recorded as a lien on the aforementioned property and the Tax Collector is
instructed to collect same.
