Held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. at the Brewster Town Hall, Meeting Room B
Voting Members present: Marc Weiss, Chair; Andi Genser, Eric Levv, NSP
The meeting was called to order at 4:35 and the minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Reports and Discussion:
-Brewster in Bloom and Bike rodeo: The Bike Rodeo was held as part of the Kids Fair at the Eddy
School. Attendance was disappointingly small but kudos and thanks to police officers Mike Mei and
Alden Childs who managed the event. Thanks also to Brewster Bike for providing a bike mechanic.
We discussed the possibility of planning an independent rodeo in early September. Andi agreed to
discuss this with Recreation Department director Wendy Allegrone
-Signage: The need for getting going on the signage issue was discussed. Marc agreed to present a
draft selectman letter for review at the next meeting.
-Committee membership: We discussed ideas for enlarging committee membership. One potential
new member expects to be at our next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 pm. The next meeting of the Bikeways Committee will be on
Tuesday June 1 at 4:30 pm, at the Police Station.
