THIS WAS THE FIRST STORE on the present Shaver's site in McCall. In the 1920's
packers gathered supplies at the N. F. Williams General Merchandise for long treks into
the back country.
Store Grows to Take Whole Block
WITH a NEW ADDITION of 7,000 square feet, Shaverr's store at McCall now takes up an entire city block.

Shaver honored as Retailer of the Year
Meadows.
Shaver lives in Boise. He re-
ceived undergraduate and
graduate degrees from Stan-
ford University.
He joined Shaver's, a family
business, in 1973.
He has been a president of
Crane Creek Club. He is a
member of the Arid Club, Rota-
ry and the Methodist Church.
He is scoutmaster of Boy Scout
Troop 100.
Shaver has been a director of
the Idaho Retailers Associa-
tion since 1976.
