Board of Electrical Examiners and Review

The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met June 28, 2017, in the Small Conference Room of the
John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Bill Luebbert at 4:00 p.m. A
quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes from the May 3, 2017 Meeting
A motion was made by David Steinman and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve the minutes of the
May 3, 2017 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
Review License Applications
• A motion was made by Richard Green and seconded by David Steinman to allow Sam Bartell to
receive his Journeyman License. Motion passed by show of hands.
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Sam Thomas to allow Kody Stark to take his
Journeyman exam. Motion passed by show of hands.
• A motion was made by David Steinman and seconded by Chris Bruemmer to allow Stacy Stout to
receive his Master license. Motion passed by show of hands.
Old Business
Bill Luebbert gave an update stating that all Journeyman and Master electrical licenses have been
entered into an electronic database.
The proposed Electrical Code Update bill was reviewed. A motion was made by David Steinman and
seconded by Jim Gooch to approve the proposed 2014 Electrical Code Update Bill. Motion passed by
show of hands.
New Business
There was discussion of Bill #2017-11, which amends Chapter 7 of the Electrical Board section.
Updating the electronic licensing to see who is still active as a Journeyman or Master was discussed.
Schedule Next Meeting
The next meeting was tentatively set for September 6, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
Adjourned
With no further business the meeting adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
