A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF Hickory Knoll, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN,
IOWA
WHEREAS, MMS, has filed with the City of Tiffin a preliminary plat for Hickory Knoll, a sub -division to the City of
Tiffin, Iowa, legally described on attached Exhibit "A", hereby incorporated and
WHEREAS, The Tiffin Fire Chief has reviewed and given their recommendations,for the preliminary plat, and subject to
certain revisions on the preliminary plat, and
WHEREAS, City'Engineer, Hart Frederick, has given his'review and comments of said preliminary plat for the
preliminary plat and, subject to certain revisions: and provided however that no improvements shall be constructed or
installed without his written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have been issued
from the state and federal agencies; and
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Preliminary Plat, for Hickory Knoll
is hereby approved; and further that the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
all related legal documents, and that the City shall properly record this Resolution 2013-152 and if necessary as per
instructions of City Attorney, the revised Sub -Dividers Agreement is not to be included with this resolution. That the lots
within Hickory Knoll shall be zoned according to the official zoning map for the City of Tiffin, Iowa to be Outlot C (17.9
acres) to be dedicated to.the City asaOpen/Park Space.
On the 11th day of September, 2013 at a regular City Council meeting Council person Upton introduced, A
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF HICKORY KNOLL, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN,
IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: Phillips
Absent: none
WHEREUPON four Council members voted for approval, Mayor Berner declared the motion carried and approved
Resolution 2013-152 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed and Approved this 11th day of September, 2013. '
