Amended Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 10 a.m.
Present were Don Poole, ]im Vachon, Lisa Vitale and Charles Sumner. Also
attending were Captains Golf Course Director of Operations Mark O'Brien and
Golf Course Commissioners Karnig Ovian and Rob Harris.
Mr. O'Brien distributed their Capital Plan and a copy of the Golf Receipts
Reserved for Appropriations for FY 2010.
He then suggested that parking lot light fixtures should be added to the golf
capital plan. Mr. Sumner asked if it could just be for the original parking lot at
this point, and that is most likely what will happen. Mr. O'Brien will get cost
estimates for these and also for some needed display fixtures in the Pro shop.
He then proceeded to review separate items. Numbers 56 and 59 are already
done and the figures listed on the plan are just paybacks. The amounts listed in
2011 are all mowers.
Number 87 was approved at the May Town Meeting but the work has not been
done since money has not come in.
Some of the items on the list may be sold and no additional equipment is being
requested. They are just replacing current equipment when needed.
The condition of the course remains excellent.
The Committee then reviewed the minutes of January 5th and Mr. Vachon asked
to have the estimated amount of $50,000 added to the I.T. information
regarding the anticipated phone system. The minutes were corrected and Mr.
Sumner made a motion to accept the minutes and Mr. Vachon seconded. The
minutes were approved.
Mr. Poole moved to adjourn and Mr. Vachon seconded. The meeting adjourned
at 10:35 a.m.
