Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 10:05 a.m.
Attending were Don Poole, James Vachon, Charles Sumner and Lisa Souve.
Jim Vachon made a motion to accept the minutes of February 11, 2010 and
Charles Sumner seconded. The minutes were approved unanimously.
The Committee started by discussing the Department of Public Works plan, and
Ms. Souve and Mr. Sumner explained that they separated equipment costs from
Chapter 90 items. They also tried to spread out expenditures so they are more
evenly distributed over the years. They will also continue to review and correct
any numbers that may not be accurate.
They changed and moved forward figures in the Fire Department Plan for the
Station Replacement. This means that the new Fire Chief will have a year to see
how the Station functions, before having to make decisions on a building design.
The Town still has to authorize debt on the $14,000.
There was a brief discussion regarding how many calls were made in order to
get Nauset Regional School figures for their Capital Plan. No response was made
to those requests.
James Vachon made a motion to adopt the Capital Plan as modified, and Lisa
Souve seconded. The motion to adopt was approved by all.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:25 a.m.
