Alimond Photography Celebrates Grand Opening in
Downtown Leesburg on Saturday, January 26, 2013
Leesburg, VA (January 25, 2013) – On Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Leesburg officials will
hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Alimond Photography located at 18 Royal
Street SE in downtown Leesburg. Leesburg Mayor Kristen Umstattd will officiate. The ribbon cutting
will be followed by the grand reveal of the new third floor studio space. Light refreshments, a studio
tour, and complimentary headshot passes will be offered to all attendees.
Alimond Photography is a couture photography studio that was founded in 2010 in Hinesville, Georgia,
by Army Veteran, Raymond Martinez, and his wife, Aliyah Dastour. In Georgia, Raymond and Aliyah
had notable success but relocated to Leesburg to be close to family in the area. After relocating to
Leesburg, they established Alimond Photography Studio and focused their business on making women
feel beautiful and capturing weddings and families in an unrefined and natural style. They have already
developed lasting relationships with their clients and have now found success in the Leesburg area.
Alimond Photography believes in giving back to the community and supports the following local charity
groups, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, the Loudoun Free Clinic, Women Giving Back, in Sterling, Virginia
and The Curvy Girls of Northern Virginia and Maryland (a support group for girls with severe scoliosis),
and they are sure that this list will grow!
“We have been planning this grand opening for 9 months and are so excited to share our vision with
the community of Leesburg and the surrounding areas. I can’t wait to show off our hard work,
beautiful images, and meet many new faces,” exclaims Aliyah Dastour, co-founder and photographer
at Alimond Photography.
