WH~W_~, there exists a need for professional services for legal represen-
tation in the matter of B<ire Services, Inc. vs. Board of Adjustments
of the Borough of Carteret, et al.
~, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a) professional services are
exempt from the requirements of competitive bidding~ and
WH~, the local Finance Officer has certified that funds are available;
NOW, TH~, BE ITRESOLV~D that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret does hereby approve the appointment of Mark S. Cholowski at a
cost not to exceed $410.~00; and
IT IS FUR~~ that the contract is awarded without competitive bids
in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a) due to the specialized and
professional nature of the services provided.
A notice of this action shall be published in The Home News & Tribune
on June 25, 1996
Adopted this 20th day of June 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 21, 1996.
