OPPOSING CANCELLATION OF "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED"
TELEVISION SHOW
WHEREAS, "America's Most Wanted" has provided an extremely valuable service
to the law enforcement community; and
WHEREAS, it has been reported that this show may be removed from the network
coverage in the next season; and
WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Borough that such actions would only ~erve the
criminal element of this country;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council request that
any decision to cancel "America's Most Wanted" be reversed in the interest of law
abiding Americans across the county.
Adopted this 20th day of June, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 21, 1996.
