RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, on January 19, 1995 by Resolution #95-40, the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret approved a contract to DeFino Construction in the amount
of$1,216,117.25; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has further certified that said modifications were
unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded;
._- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $24,408.00 is hereby
added from the original contract and payment of the modified amount $1,385,934.00
is hereby approved.
Adopted this 20th day of June, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 21, 1996.
