A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT TO SLIMS SALOON DOING
BUSINESS AT 301 MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has reviewed and will determine the
granting of the Alcohol Permit requested by the Slims Saloon located with the corporate city
limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and;
Whereas, the City Council has not discovered any reason to deny the renewal of the Alcohol
Permit for Slims Saloon, therefore'City Council directs the City Administrator/Clerk to submit
for local authority, approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
WHEREUPON, On the 11 th day of September 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa. Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution 2013-164 and made, a
motion• for A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT TO SLIMS
SALOON DOING BUSINESS AT 301 MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN,
IOWA. Motion seconded by Council person Kahler.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none
Absent: none
With five votes of,approval, Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION 2013-164
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT TO SLIMS SALOON DOING BUSINESS AT 301
MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA, by adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 11TH day of September 2013 and approved by -the Mayor.
