Town of Leesburg Debuts New Online Job Application Process
Leesburg, VA (February 7, 2013) – The Town of Leesburg recently upgraded its employment
applications to a completely digital, online process. With the implementation of the new
system, the Town no longer accepts employment applications by regular mail, fax or email.
“The online application system will greatly improve the efficiency and work flow of the
application process,” commented Karen Dilley, the Town’s Human Resources Manager. “Job
applicants will find the electronic process easy to use, while the process will significantly reduce
the amount of paperwork required in the administration of new hires.”
All current vacancies and links to the application process are posted on the Town website at
www.leesburgva.gov/jobs. In addition, a new Customer Service Station located in the lobby of
Town Hall (25 West Market Street, Leesburg) is available for applicants to use during normal
business hours. The new online process does allow applicants to attach cover letters and
resumes, but if an applicant is using the Customer Service Station in Town Hall, those items
must be saved to a flash drive.
For more information about the new online application process, please contact the Town’s
Human Resources Department at 703‐777‐2420.
