The Council of the Village of Medina met in special session as a Board
Review on June 25, 1970 at 7:30 P. M.

A l members of the Council gnd Assessor Willis Kohnen and
Comnty Assessor Wayne Behnson were present.
A delegation from the Rolling Breen Country Club appeared asking about the
amount of taxes on the club house. After discussio�y� d explatation, Wayne
Johnson advised them that the only way they couldr fie3r valuation reduced is
if new legislation is passed.
Henry Newmann appeared with regard to removing the hook-up charge for the
sewer on his property as there is no house there now. To Be taken up at
the July meeting.
Moved by Arthur Theis that the meeting adjourn.

7. 1970 at 7:32 P. M.

Raymond Bosch, Arthur Theis, Donald DesLauriers and
Wayne Neddermeyer present. Harold Winterhalter left
after presenting his resignation.
The minutes of the meeting of the Village of Medina of June 2, 1970 read.
Moved by Donald Des Lauriers that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded Raymond Bosch.

The minutes of the Board of Review of June 25, 1970 read. Moved by Raymond
Bosch to approve the minutes as read.

The minutes of the Planning Coomission meeting of June 15, 1970 read.
The contract for policing Baker Park was submitted. Moved by Raymond Bosch
to approve the contract for policing Baker Park from May 1, 1970 to May 1,1971

A letter of resignation from Harold Winterhalter was read. Moved by Donald
Des Lauriers to accept the resignation of Harold Winterhalter as Councilman.

Harold Pederson appeared iith regard to putting up a mobile house on hia farm.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to grant a temporary three months permit for a mobile
home with the understanding that he come back to the Council in three months.

Nick Oeffling appeared to ask if it was 0. K. for him to hook-up to the
Loretto water system. Is alright as part of his property is in Loretto.
Moved by Arthur Theis that we donate 300.00 to the Hamel Athletic Club.

Moved by Donald Des Diariers to grant Beverly Pettit of the "55 Club" a
non -intoxicating beer off -sale.

Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to remove the hook-up assessment on the Henry
Neumann.property.
Seconded by Raymond Bosch.

A letter from the Henn. Co. Department of Public Works stating that our
1971 and 1972 allotments of Aid to Municipalities have been approved.
Discussion of Food Stamp Program.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to permit Archie Dayon to split Plat 60011, parcel
530 into two lots, provided it meets with the approval of the Village Attorney.

Anne Dorweiler read the letter which she had composed with regard to dog
ordinance.
Moved by Donald Des Lauriers that we approve the letter
as written as to the dog ordinance, same to be mailed to the Crow River
News and the Minnetonka Sun as a news item.

Motion carried.
Anne Dorweiler reported on the progress that is being made on the street
and house numbering.
Discussion with William Mills and Bob Kreats with regard to the sewer
hook-up at the Legion Hall. They are to meet with someone from the
Legion with regard to this matter.
Discussion with William Mills with regard to the clean-up with regard to
the sewer and water project.
Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to pay the bills caused by the sewer on
the Pulju property, as follows - rug cleaning 872.60, Floor cleaning
$30.00 and plumber $37.50.

Moved by Raymond Bosch to authorize the Village Engineer to write a letter
to Barbarosso, informing them that as of July 17th, 1970 we will invoke
the penalty clause of $50.00 per day plus engineer costs to complete
the water and sewer project, especially the sodding.

Moved by Arthur Theis to appoint Donald Des Lauriers to replace Harold
Winterhalter on the water and sewer project.

Motion carried.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to pay the bills as follows: payroll in the
amount of 35,760.73 and order checks in the amount of $7,034.84.
