RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF INACTIVE
A.B.C. LICENSE #1201-32-012-006 ~.B BY CARf~VT MAlL
LIQUORS, INC. FOR 1996 - 1997 LIC~i~SE 'f~ WITH
CONDITIONAL SPECIAL RULING
WHEREAS, pursuant to an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Alcoholic Bev-
erages'' as amended and also by Certain rules and regulations adopted by
the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret regarding and relative to
certain types of licenses in accordance with said Act; and
WHEREAS, CARi'~iET MALL LIQUORS, INC. has filed a Verified P. etition with
the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control for a Special
Ruling to Permit the Filing of RenEwal Application of an Inactive License,
#1201-32-012-006, for the 1996-1997 License Term, pursuant to N.J.S.A.
33:1-12.39; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control finds that
said Licensee has established good cause in accordance with the statutory
require~nts to warrant an application for renewal of the license for the
1996-1997 License Term and accordingly, does authorize the Mayor and Coun-
cil of the Borough of Carteret to consider said application for renewal
noting that this is the first license tern for which the licensee Seek~
relief pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 33:1-12.39 end that the
approval granted is conditional, and is based upon the representations
set forth in the petitioner's notarized letter dated May 15, 1996.
WHEREAS, Carteret Mall Liquors, Inc. has filed an application and paid
all necessary fees for renewal for the 1996-1997 License Term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret have considered the reconmendations made by the
New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and does hereby approve
the renewal of Inactive License ~/1201-32-012-006, held by Carteret Mall
Liquors, Inc., for the 1996-1997 License Term with Conditional Approval
Granted am defined in Agency Docket Number 05~96~021, Transmittal #
96017694.
BE IT FURTH~{ RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution
be forwarded, along with original application and proper fee, to the
State of New Jersey, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing
Bireau, CN 087, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0087.
Adopted this 20th day of June, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 21, 1996.
