McCall, Cascade, Donnelly and
New Meadows all went up between
1980 and 1986, according to figures
released by the Idaho Department of
Commerce.
The figures said that the popula-
tion of McCall went from 2,188 to
2,670 over the six years, while the
population of Cascade went from
945 to 1,070.
The population of New Mead-
ows rose from 576 in 1980 to 600
in 1986, and the number of people
living in Donnelly rose from 139
to 210.

The number of people living in true for July 1, 1986, and were
compiled by the U.S. Bureau of the
Census. The study showed that 124
of Idaho's 198 incorporated cities
have had population gains since the
1980 census.
However, between July 1, 1984,
and July 1, 1986, only-90 Idaho
cities experienced increases in their
population estimate, a release from
the department of commerce said.
During the 1980s, Idaho cities
have had an overall population in-
crease of 5.0 percent, compared to a
6.2 percent increase for the state as
a whole, the release said.
