RESOLUTION NO. 2013-170
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF. PRAIRIE TRAIL WEST;
A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA
WHEREAS, MMS Consultants, has filed with the City of Tiffin a preliminary plat for Prairie Tail West, a sub -division to
the City of Tiffin, Iowa, legally described on attached Exhibit"A", hereby incorporated and

WHEREAS, The Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and have given their recommendations for the
preliminary plat presented at the 09/07/13 meetings; and
WHEREAS, The Tiffin Fire Chief has reviewed and given their recommendations for the preliminary plat, and
WHEREAS, City Engineer, Hart Frederick, has given his review: and'provided however that no improvements shall be
constructed or installed without his written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have
been issued from the state and federal agencies; and s

NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Preliminary Plat, for Prairie Trail
West is hereby approved; and further that the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute all related legal documents, and that the City shall properly record this Resolution 2013-170 and if necessary as
per instructions of City Attorney, the Sub -Dividers Agreement is not to be included with this resolution. That the lots within
the development shall be zoned according to the official zoning map for the City of Tiffin, Iowa and Outlot A to be
dedicated to the City as Open/Park Space.
On the 25th day of September; 2013 at a -regular City Council meeting Council person Upton introduced A
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PRAIRIE TRAIL WEST, A SUBDIVISION TO
TIFFIN, IOWA and'made a motion'for,approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Kahler
Nays: none
Absent: Ryan ,
WHEREUPON four Council members voted for approval, Mayor Berner declared the motion carried and approved
Resolution 2013,170 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed and Approved this 25th day of September, 2013.
